Today, Apple has released the new version of iTunes, version 4.9, that features built-in Podcast capabilities. I tried the new iTunes on Windows, haven't had much time to play with it other then add a bunch of the podcasts I listen to that weren't in the Apple directory. First impressions though, I'll probably stick with using iPodder for Windows. One thing I noticed right off, you cannot minimize iTunes to the system tray.

I prefer iTunes... but there are other programs out there. iTunes lets you skip around within a podcast using 'chapters' and shows what playing in the podcast right now with a visual icon in the lower left hand corner. And a bunch of other neat stuff too.
Abt the minimizing to the system tray, well I can't help that, but WMP doesn't do that either...lol. I'm not sure about other players. But if you have a mac, you can turn on iTunes and close the window (iTunes still runs in the background, playing whatever you selected) -- won't have that problem then, lol.
Apple lists podcast that people submit to them, so encourage your podcast producer to list, list, list! It's real easy.

2700 should do podcasting!! (I remember you had a radio type thing going awhile back...maybe podcasting would be better?)
